Welcome to JazzPianoLab. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website, application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by JazzPianoLab ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing, subscribing to, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the Service.

1. Account Registration

To access the Service, you must create an individual account and subscribe or use 7-day free trial. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

Each account represents one license and is intended for individual use.
A license can only be active on one device at a time.
Suspicious or abusive behavior may lead to account suspension or termination without refund.

2. Subscription and Billing

JazzPianoLab currently offers a single annual subscription plan.

By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay the full annual subscription fee upfront
  • Allow automatic renewal at the end of each billing period unless canceled in advance
  • Cancel your subscription through the platform you used to subscribe (e.g., Gumroad) before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue.

For multi-license purchases (e.g., for schools, colleges, or organizations), please contact us.

3. License and Use of Content

With an active subscription, you are granted a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use JazzPianoLab content for both personal and commercial purposes, such as:

  • Teaching (private lessons, classroom use, educational platforms)
  • Video/audio production, livestreams, podcasts, social media
  • Client work, online education, and paid performances

You may not:

  • Use a single license on multiple devices simultaneously
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute unmodified original files (e.g., sheet music, audio tracks)
  • Include JazzPianoLab content in content libraries or resale packages
  • Claim authorship of content created by JazzPianoLab

4. Feature Requests and Feedback

We welcome feedback and feature suggestions.
While we prioritize ideas based on community interest, JazzPianoLab’s educational vision, and available resources, we cannot guarantee implementation.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Violate laws or infringe any third-party rights
  • Share harmful, illegal, or offensive content
  • Attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service

Violation may result in suspension or permanent account termination.

6. Availability and Modifications

While we strive to keep the Service reliable, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
We reserve the right to update or modify content, features, or pricing at any time without notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All content provided via JazzPianoLab remains the sole intellectual property of JazzPianoLab or the original content owner or licensor.
You are granted usage rights under this Agreement, but you do not own the content itself.

8. Copyright Infringement

If you believe that any content on JazzPianoLab infringes your copyright as the original owner or authorized licensor, please contact us immediately.
We take such concerns seriously and aim to resolve any legitimate issues promptly.

JazzPianoLab will not be held liable for copyright violations unknowingly committed through third-party content.
We act in good faith and comply with takedown requests that meet legal standards.

9. Warranty Disclaimer

The Service and all content are provided “as is”, with no express or implied warranties. We do not guarantee:

  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Continuous access or performance
  • Compatibility with your specific setup

Use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JazzPianoLab shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your use of the Service or content.
This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, revenue, or business.

11. Termination

This Agreement terminates automatically if your subscription ends or you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, you must stop using the Service and delete any Product files from your devices, unless explicitly authorized otherwise.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are intended for international users.
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to resolve it first through good-faith negotiation.
If unresolved, it will be referred to neutral international arbitration, unless an alternative method is agreed upon.

13. Changes to Terms

JazzPianoLab reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
